I'm so excited for Barack Obama to be sworn in. When I think about what this symbolizes for the country, I get weepy. It's so amazing to see this happen in my life time. It's one of those things people always said "not in my lifetime" but here it is happening. I'm so excited to not have to see GW Bush's face everywhere. I'm more excited that my children will be born in a time of unity (i hope) and relatively liberal ideas.


In a random thought - I'm sick. For a few days my throat has been hurting and today I can barely swallow and I've got all sorts of congestion and phlegmy grossness. I'm so exhausted too. boo hiss. AND it's snowing today!
