Flint, MI - The summer months offer a multitude of events and activities - and it can be difficult for a family to narrow down their choices. By attending the annual Flint Cultural Center Summer Celebration, they don't have to! This year's Summer Celebration, held on the grounds of the Flint Cultural Center campus, along Kearsley Street in Flint, is scheduled for Friday, July 22 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 23 from noon to 5 p.m. and features something fun for everyone.
Families and kids of all ages can enjoy unique live performances, music, theatre, planetarium shows, hands-on activities, exciting exhibits and much more - all FREE!

Picnic areas will be available or visitors can purchase refreshments from vendors. Summer Celebration activities will continue - indoors and under tents - rain or shine. Participating organizations include Flint Cultural Center Corporation, Flint Institute of Arts, Flint Institute of Music, Flint Public Library, Flint Youth Theatre, Longway Planetarium, Sarvis Center, Sloan Museum and The Whiting. The Flint Cultural Center's Summer Celebration is supported by abc12, A.G. Bishop Trust, CARS108, C.S. Mott Foundation, Flint Journal, Michigan Public Media and Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA).
